Uni is back on. I dusted off my school bag, put in a pen, drank some milk and will go to sleep early. As my mom takes me to uni tomorrow, I find myself wondering, will I cry when she drops me off?

Ive been working in retail for about 2 years now, its a good, clean, and easy job. The other day I watching the latest episode of Weeds where Nancy gets a retail job. She was talking about it and what she said couldnt be any more true...

"I got what the world would call a normal, boring job. I wake up in the morning, get dressed, drive to work, put on a name tag, take my brain out of my skull and place it in a drawer. Age, What is?

After turning 20, I felt time catching up to me. Ive been in Australia for 2 years and the time has passed quickly. I look back and think about what Ive done, what I could've done, and what I shouldve and shouldn't have done. Time passes quick.

But what is age? I think age is a direct measure of experience. However, you do find people older with not as much life experience as you. Thats due to the way they chose to live their life. I looked up age in Wikipedia only to be confused. Its a hard thing to define, one that has many aspects to it.

Rather than live in the past, one can only move on and grow from the past. Learn from ones mistakes, make better choices, and live life without holding back.

Live the moment, and a few moments after that! The moments too far ahead and too far behind are of insignificant importance.

The Second Coming of My Blog

After I vowed to never let my blog die, it died. Its been 6 months - 1 day since Ive written in my blog. What started out as a way to ramble, rant, and voice my views to a larger audience, ended with a pathetic vow to never let it end. Yet it did. Ive been thinking of starting it and just never felt like it.

However, my friend Farrah [I wont say any last names in order to preserve privacy] quoted me on Facebook. I realized that my blog was actually more than a useless rant, but rather something that people actually read and agree/disagree with. Ive decided to continue writing in my blog.

My blog died. Ive decided once more, this time its a real decision. I will not let my blog die. So im starting to write in it once more. I was way too busy in the past month(s).

Girls who Cruise and Pick Up..

I am rather surprised, alarmed, but not angry, at the amount of girls who cruise and pick up guys. It seems like the roles have been reversed. Im not too sure if thats a bad thing or a good thing, but it sure as hell makes things easier for us guys. All that is required now is to walk around wearing some nice threads, a smile on your face, and an ability to at least make eye contact. Its a rather big change and sadly I have only come to realize it recently. Shame, I've spent a year here already. I was told I should open my eyes, and I have since heeded that advice and have since realized differences I was unaware of.

The Hijabi Conflict

Theres something that truly deeply disturbs me. It is when I see a girl wearing a hijab and failing to follow the guidelines set once the hijab is placed upon her head. Especially in Australia, my experience has been rather appalling. I was in the mall and behind me I heard this girl cursing she was like "fuck this and that and fuck walla fuck bla bla" and I told my friend "I bet you she wears a hijab". Once we stepped aside, sure enough, she was wearing a hijab. Rather typical. She doesnt represent all girls who wear hijab but unfortunately in this world, generalizing is a very common and easy thing to do. I dont really care what the specific person does in her life, but dont make things worse for others.
